If you’re an online coach or service provider, chances are you’ve struggled with this:

“What should I put in my content, to actually get clients?”

Maybe you’ve been throwing spaghetti at the wall, creating content that feels random and exhausting to keep up with. Or maybe you’re stuck in a cycle of silence, unsure what to say or how to even start.

Either way, it’s frustrating. You want to stand out, get visible, and connect with your audience — but without a clear plan, you end up spinning your wheels.

The truth is, your content can and should bring in clients.

And when you have a repeatable system that helps you write high-converting content, you’ll waste less time guessing and more time serving your audience — and landing the right people inside your paid offers.

That’s why I created High-Leverage Content.

And today, I want to share the story of what inspired this program, how it’s helping online coaches and service providers like you, and why I believe it’s the future of content marketing for online businesses.

Let’s begin at the beginning.

How I Realized Content Strategy Was the Missing Link for Coaches & Service Providers

For 7+ years, I worked as a Pinterest Marketing Strategist, helping coaches and service providers use Pinterest to drive traffic to their content.

(Simultaneously, I was serving as a Content Manager for Kaye Putnam, a 7-figure brand strategist, coach, and course creator. This info will play in, later in my story! … But she was the first person I helped with Pinterest, and that project spawned my Pinterest business!)

But, back to Pinterest…

I worked with all types of coaches in my Pinterest offers — wellness coaches, relationship coaches, business coaches, life coaches… And I worked with a diverse array of online service providers, too… Like brand and webs designers, copywriters, and even other Pinterest managers/strategists.

I did dozens and dozens of “done-for-you” Pinterest set-ups, and I created and filled a digital course to teach how I did them.

I loved the work — especially knowing that I was helping connect transformational experts with the people who needed them most.

But over and over, my clients and course students kept asking me: “Jana, what should I pin on Pinterest?”

At first, I gave them a simple answer: “Everything! Blog posts, Instagram posts, podcast guest spots, media appearances — the more, the better.”

But the question kept coming back.

“Okay, nice. But what do I pin?”

At first, I was puzzled. Why did they seem stuck when I’d already answered their question?

And then it hit me one day.

They weren’t really asking, What do I pin?

What they were really asking was:

  • “If you want me to pin blog posts, what should I write them about?”
  • “If you want me to pin Instagram posts, what do I need to say in them?”
  • “What do I need to say here in this content, to get clients with it?”

And the real question behind the question was…

“If you want me to take the time to craft a piece of content, create three pin images for it, choose keywords, write a keyword-rich description and pin title… how can I be sure I’ll get ROI on that time and effort?… I don’t want this content to be a waste of time. So what should I pin?”

That was my ah-ha moment.

My clients and students didn’t just need help amplifying their content — they needed help creating the right content in the first place.

Turning My Road-tested Content Strategy Into a System

So finally, after years of hearing this question, I decided to pivot.

I took everything I’d learned in online business so far…

✔️ All my lessons from my time as Content Manager for Kaye (the 7-figure brand strategist and coach),

✔️ All my learnings from 7+ years of creating and managing content for my own Pinterest business

✔️ All the work I’d done behind-the-scenes with marketing all my Pinterest clients’ coaching and service-based businesses…

…and I created a step-by-step system for writing high-converting content.

I examined what I had been doing for my own business, and for Kaye’s… I broke it down into repeatable frameworks and tools… and I systemized it.

The result? High-Leverage Content (HLC) — the course (+support) that shows online coaches and service providers exactly how to create a small-but-mighty library of reusable, evergreen blog posts that don’t just make an impression but also make sales.

I launched HLC for the first time in early 2022, and it was an immediate hit! I had 18 students enroll immediately…

And at the time of writing this, I’ve had 160+ students and counting come into HLC and learn my ways! (More on some of their successes below!)

What Makes High-Leverage Content Different

I’ve always been a believer in building strong foundations. That’s why High-Leverage Content focuses on strategy first, then execution.

This is not about slapping random content ideas together. It’s about crafting thoughtful, high-converting content that moves your audience from curious to ready to buy.

Here are just a few of the frameworks and tools my students get when they enroll:

The “9-in-2” Content Pillars:

These are the 9 types of content every coaching or service-based business needs, to ensure your marketing has all the things your audience needs from you, to feel ready to buy. HLC students use my proven method to strategically plan topics for each pillar—so your content plan is perfectly aligned with what your audience needs to hear, learn, and understand to feel excited to hire you.

(Basically, this framework is the answer to the question, “What should I put in my content to get people to buy?”) 🙌🏽

The HLC Strategic Content Outlines:

These 9 step-by-step outlines (one for each type) guide you — paragraph-by-paragraph — through writing high-converting blog posts, from the introduction to the conclusion, and all the “meaty” parts in between… ensuring you hit all the right triggers so your posts will convert. 🎯

HLC ChatGPT Blog Writing Prompts & AI Writing Assistants:

My road-tested prompts, training, and AI chatbot writing assistants help my students write faster and with more ease. My students have cut their average blog writing time from 14 hours to just 2 hours using my process and these tools! 😲

The “Light and Logical” 4-Step Writing Process:

My 4-step process breaks blog writing into manageable phases, making it waaayyy less overwhelming and reducing context switching so your brain can write fast and with ease. (While also ensuring the results are always high-quality!)

No more leaving drafted blogs half-done in your Google drive. This process keeps you moving forward, and gets your marketing content done and published, so it can bring you clients. 💃🏻

Results my HLC Students Report:

High-Leverage Content has already helped so many students achieve incredible results. I generally see their wins as falling into three categories:

Result: 💎 Major Clarity:

Students report feeling more organized and confident in their content strategy—and in their business as a whole.

Many students come into High-Leverage Content feeling overwhelmed by their ideas. They have so much expertise but don’t know how to organize it or turn it into content that converts.

Through the HLC process, they untangle all of that brain chaos. They report feeling more organized and confident—not just in their content strategy but in their overall business.

One student told me:

“HLC helped me finally connect the dots between what I do, what my audience needs, and how to communicate that in a way that feels authentic—and gets results. I feel so much clearer about my messaging and content strategy now.”

When you’re clear on what to say and why you’re saying it, you can stop overthinking and start creating with purpose. And you’ll get real ROI on the time you invest in content creation…

Result: 💰 Clients Who Are Ready to Buy:

Your content shouldn’t just make an impression — it needs to drive action. And that’s exactly what happens when you create a strategic library of blog posts using the HLC framework.

I’ve had students seeing inquiries and landing paying clients after publishing just two HLC-style blog posts. Here are just a few examples:

  • Coaches landing 1:1 clients: One student (a mental wellness coach and therapist) shared two of her HLC blog posts and landed two new clients in less than 60 days.
  • Membership sales: Another student (a nutritionist and low-sugar coach) used her HLC content to promote her membership. Almost immediately, she had two long-time “lurkers” finally join, saying the blog posts finally triggered them to do so.
  • Program enrollments: A Pinterest Manager in HLC shared her first few HLC posts, and within HOURS she reported having 4 new inquiries for her brand-new mentorship program. 3 of them booked discovery calls with her, and 2 said yes and joined!

When your blog is strategically designed to address the questions, challenges, and hesitations your audience has before buying, the results follow naturally.

Result: 🤓 Credibility That Opens Doors:

Your blog doesn’t just work to convert clients directly — it also works for the people who refer you and help amplify your message.

I’ve had students tell me they’ve used their HLC blog posts to:

  • Get referrals from other professionals: For example, a wellness coach’s HLC blog posts became a key resource for physicians who referred patients to her. The referring doctors could skim her blog, see her expertise, and feel confident sending clients her way.
  • Land podcast guest spots: One HLC student (a fertility coach) wrote a blog post on a high-impact topic and then pitched the same topic to podcast hosts. In 90 days, she booked nine guest spots, with her blog (all of her posts!) serving as a proof point of her expertise.
  • Boost their authority for collaborations: Another student (a web designer) used her blog to pitch collaborations and speaking gigs. Her blog posts helped her stand out from other experts pitching the same opportunities.

For HLC students, their content doesn’t just help them attract clients — it becomes proof of expertise, a huge credibility (and confidence!) builder, and their 24/7 sales assistant.

Bringing AI Into the Mix: The Game-Changer That Made Writing Easier Than Ever

I’d be remiss if I didn’t also describe something else that was going on, when I decided to create the High-leverage Content program…

A major shift was happening in the digital world:

AI tools like ChatGPT were entering the scene.

At first, I was curious. Could AI really help me write? Could it save time without sacrificing quality? (And tbh, I was a little hesitant — a skeptic even! 🤨)

But I dove in headfirst, experimenting endlessly with ChatGPT to see how I could use it to write high-converting, thought leadership blog posts faster than ever.

And the results blew me away.

I figured out how to pair my strategic frameworks with AI-powered writing techniques to reduce my own blog-writing time by 75%. A process that used to take me an entire day now took just 90 minutes to 2 hours—from brainstorming to a polished, ready-to-publish blog post. 🤯

The impact was so transformative that I knew I couldn’t keep it to myself…

Before I even launched High-Leverage Content, I created a precursor course called Revolutionize Your Coaching Content with ChatGPT. In it, I shared the methods I’d been developing for using AI to write smarter, faster, and more strategically.

The feedback was incredible. My students loved how these techniques demystified AI and made content creation feel not just manageable but exciting. They could see the potential for scaling their content without scaling their workload.

But I wanted to go deeper.

I realized that by combining these AI writing techniques with the content strategy frameworks I’d already been using for years—like my “9-in-2” Content Pillars—I could create a complete system that would transform the way my audience approached blogging.

This was the final piece of the puzzle that became High-Leverage Content.

Now, inside HLC, my students don’t just learn how to create strategic, high-converting blog posts — they learn how to do it faster and more efficiently than ever.

With the help of my HLC Blog Writing Assistant GPTs and other AI-assisted techniques, HLC students have been able to reduce their blog writing time by 75%, just like I did. What used to take them hours or even days now takes just 3 hours or less.

And the best part? The quality doesn’t just stay high — it gets better. AI helps streamline the process, while the HLC frameworks ensure their blog posts connect, resonate, and convert.

By blending AI innovation with a rock-solid content strategy, High-Leverage Content equips my students with tools and techniques they can trust to make blogging easier, faster, and more impactful than ever before.

The Future of Content Marketing for Online Service Providers and Coaches

The online coaching and service provider space is changing. Audiences are more discerning than ever, and they’re looking for depth, trust, and evidence of expertise before they buy.

This means fleeting social posts won’t cut it anymore.

The future is about long-form, evergreen content that builds trust, establishes credibility, and converts faster.

Meanwhile, coaches and service providers have realized that creating TONS of content for social media and other fleeting platforms just isn’t sustainable. They need to find ways to be visible with the right messages, but in a more easeful way, so they don’t burn out.

With High-Leverage Content, you’ll create a strategic blog that does exactly that — working for you 24/7 to attract and convert clients without the constant hustle of creating new content.

Imagine having a small-but-mighty content library that works like a marketing machine, repurposed across platforms and building your business with less effort…

That’s what I see for successful online business owners who will thrive in 2025 and beyond — and I want to help you get there.
